Role Purpose

As a Business Analyst within the Business Improvement department, you will play a key role in strengthening dnata’s data-driven decision-making and operational excellence. You will translate business needs into actionable insights, digital solutions, and process improvements that enhance performance, efficiency, and strategic alignment.

In this role, you work closely with management, operational teams, and technical stakeholders to support digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. You contribute directly to building scalable, reliable, and future-proof data and reporting structures across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify information and reporting needs in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • Translate business requirements into reliable dashboards, reports, and analytical insights.

  • Support management and operational teams with data-driven analyses for informed decision-making.

  • Design, implement, and optimize automation and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Python, and forecasting models.

  • Analyze business, system, and workflow processes to identify efficiency and digitalization opportunities.

  • Initiate and implement improvement initiatives in close cooperation with the BI team and relevant departments.

  • Develop, maintain, and manage an organization-wide dashboard and reporting landscape.

  • Prioritize and coordinate data and BI initiatives in alignment with business priorities.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with internal standards and governance policies.

  • Translate strategic objectives into concrete digital and data-driven improvement projects.

  • Promote adoption of data-driven working methods across the organization.

Required Experience & Profile

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as (Technical) Business Administration, Econometrics, Logistics, or a comparable discipline.

  • Strong analytical background with experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting.

  • Demonstrated experience in process analysis, system optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear insights for diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Experience working with BI and automation tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Python.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills in a complex operational environment.

  • High level of accuracy, quality awareness, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.
