A flight to Dubai is ready for departure. In the warehouse, you and your team carefully build the cargo onto sturdy aircraft pallets (ULDs). Every package has its place, every strap is secured, and you record all the details in the system. Later, a shipment from New York arrives: you break down the pallets, check the cargo, and register the details digitally.

As a Warehouse Operative Break & Build, you combine physical strength with precision and responsibility. You’ll be at the heart of the dynamic operations at Schiphol – no day is ever the same.

What you can expect

• A 38-hour contract per week with rotating shifts (24/7, including weekends and public holidays)

What you’ll be doing

• Building aircraft pallets (ULDs) according to strict aviation standards

• Breaking down cargo from arriving aircraft

• Checking cargo loads, securing freight, and ensuring safety

• Loading, moving, and checking pallets and ULDs with a forklift

• Contributing to a safe, clean, and efficient workplace

What you bring

• Minimum MBO-2 level (secondary vocational education) or equivalent

• Strong team spirit and a hands-on attitude

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts (24/7)

• At least 8 years of EU residency + positive VGB (security screening)

• Forklift license is an advantage – if you don’t have one, we’ll arrange it for you
