  • Coordinate the deployment of personnel, equipment, and capacity across the cargo operation.

  • Prioritise and adjust operations in response to disruptions, peak volumes, or capacity constraints.

  • Identify operational risks, early warning signals, and deviations in planning or data.

  • Lead daily planning and alignment meetings with internal stakeholders.

  • Work closely with Duty Managers on progress updates, decision-making, and escalations.

  • Adjust operational plans in line with safety, quality standards, and customer agreements.

  • Work with operational and planning systems and intervene manually where required.

  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and quality assurance within the Control Center.

  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, safety requirements, and internal procedures.

  • Timely identification and reporting of incidents and unsafe situations.

Required Experience and Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of working and thinking.

  • Relevant experience in an operational decision-making role within cargo, logistics, or warehouse operations.

  • Knowledge of aviation logistics, cargo processes, and 24/7 operations is a strong advantage.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to maintain overview under pressure.

  • Experience in functional leadership and collaboration with multiple operational stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English.

  • Willingness to work in shift patterns (7 days per week).

What We Offer

  • A challenging and responsible role within an operationally critical environment at Schiphol Airport.

  • A competitive salary, aligned with experience and responsibilities.

  • Holiday entitlement in line with dnata employment conditions.

  • Travel allowance and access to Schiphol facilities.

  • Access to Staff Travel and Benefits at Work.

  • Opportunities for professional development and training within dnata.
