What will you do as a Pushbacker

As a Pushbacker (Aircraft Tug Driver), you guide aircraft safely from the gate to the runway. Using a headset, you communicate with the pilot and Air Traffic Control Netherlands (LVNL) to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Your main tasks:

• Guiding and positioning aircraft on the apron

• Performing pushbacks and tows following safety procedures

• Operating ground support equipment

• Setting up safety zones and preparing materials

• Working closely with Ramp and Operations colleagues to keep every flight on schedule

No day is the same – you keep Schiphol Airport moving.

What you bring

• MBO level 3 working and thinking level (or equivalent)

• Valid driver’s license (B)

• Proven experience as Ramp/Platform employee

• Good command of Dutch and English

• Minimum of 8 years living in the Netherlands (required for the VGB clearance)

What we offer

• 38-hour contract per week in rotating shifts

• Salary between €2,836 and €3,736 gross per month (excluding allowances)

• 25 vacation days, 8% holiday allowance, and shift allowances
