Job description

Since 2015, we have been operating at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, where nearly 1,300 colleagues support one of Europe's busiest airports. As our operation continues to grow, we are looking for experienced Pushback Drivers to join our team.
What will you do?
As a Pushback Driver (Aircraft Tug Driver), you are responsible for safely moving aircraft from the gate to the taxiway and performing aircraft towing operations on the airside platform. Working in accordance with strict safety procedures, you play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient and on-time flight departures.
During every pushback, you communicate directly with the flight crew via headset and work closely with Air Traffic Control Netherlands (LVNL) and your colleagues on the ramp. You remain focused, work with precision and always put safety first.
Your responsibilities include:
Performing aircraft pushback and towing operations in accordance with safety procedures.
Positioning and manoeuvring aircraft safely on the airside platform.
Operating and inspecting pushback tractors and other Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
Securing the work area and establishing safety zones before every operation.
Working closely with operational teams to ensure safe and efficient flight departures.
Reporting operational irregularities and safety concerns when required.
Job requirements
You enjoy working in a fast-paced airport environment where safety is always the highest priority. You are accurate, responsible and confident working around aircraft.
In addition, you have:
MBO Level 3 working and thinking level or equivalent.
A valid Category B driving licence.
Experience in a Ramp or Airside operation.
Good command of both Dutch and English.
Eligibility to obtain an Airport Security Clearance (VGB). This requires that you have lived in the Netherlands and/or another EU country for the past eight consecutive years.

A full-time employment contract (38 hours per week) working in rotating shifts.
A gross monthly salary between €2,951 and €3,988, excluding shift allowances.
Shift allowances in accordance with the applicable collective labour agreement.
