Are you looking for a dynamic job at Schiphol Airport where no two days are the same?

At dnata, you will start as a netter within our build-up operation. You will help secure and prepare air cargo for flights departing to destinations around the world.

No air cargo experience? No problem. We will train you.

With the right motivation and ambition, you can grow into roles such as Builder, Senior Builder, Coordinator, Trainer or Duty Manager.

Many of our leaders started their careers on the warehouse floor.

We organise selection days every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1:00 PM at our Schiphol location.

During the selection day, you will:

  • take a guided tour of our warehouse

  • meet future colleagues and managers

  • discover what it's like to work as a Netter or Builder

  • have the opportunity to ask questions

  • often receive feedback on your application the same day

What will you do?

As an Air Cargo Warehouse Operator, you will work at the heart of our international cargo operation.

Your responsibilities include:

  • placing and securing nets over built air cargo pallets

  • checking cargo for stability and safety

  • supporting break and build activities

  • loading, unloading and moving air cargo

  • reporting irregularities to the Builder or Coordinator

  • following safety procedures and airline requirements

  • maintaining a clean, safe and organised workplace

Together with your colleagues, you will help ensure that flights depart on time.

Job requirements

What are we looking for?

  • You have a hands-on mentality and are physically fit

  • You work accurately and safely

  • You enjoy working in a team environment

  • You are available full-time and willing to work shifts in a 24/7 operation

  • You have a good command of either English or Dutch

  • You have at least a secondary school or vocational education level

Experience as a warehouse operator, logistics employee, order picker, production worker or forklift driver is an advantage, but not required.

Important: Security screening (VGB)

Working at Schiphol Airport requires a security clearance called a Declaration of No Objection (VGB).

To qualify for this screening, you must:

  • have lived continuously within the European Union for the past eight years

  • be able to provide your residential and employment history for this period

  • successfully complete the security screening process

Without a valid VGB, employment at Schiphol is not possible.

  • A full-time contract of 38 hours per week

  • A gross monthly salary between €2,799 and €3,601
