Role Purpose
As the HR Business Partner Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, strengthening, and professionalizing the HR agenda at dnata Netherlands. You will lead and coach a team of three HR Business Partners while driving strategic HR initiatives and transformation projects that enable organizational growth, leadership capability, workforce excellence, and business performance. This role acts as a strategic advisor to senior leadership. It ensures HR strategies are translated into impact-driven execution across the organization, particularly within our operational cargo and logistics environment. You will help future-proof dnata by building a scalable, data-driven, and people-centric HR framework aligned with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of three HR Business Partners, ensuring consistent service delivery, capability growth, and stakeholder engagement.
Act as a strategic sparring partner to senior leadership and line managers, advising on organizational development, talent, performance, culture, and workforce risks and opportunities.
Drive and oversee strategic HR initiatives, including HR process optimization, digitalization initiatives, organizational change, engagement programs, and performance management cycles.
Translate HR analytics and KPIs into meaningful insights, recommendations, and executive-level reporting.
Lead employee relations and act as an escalation point for complex cases, ensuring compliance with Dutch labor law and internal governance.
Ensure alignment of HR policies, employment practices, and people initiatives with local legislation, organizational strategy, and dnata values.
Strengthen leadership capabilities and create a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous learning.
Champion diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, and sustainable workforce initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Business Leaders to ensure a seamless end-to-end employee experience.
Vereisten
Required Experience & Profile
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or a comparable academic field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, including significant time as HR Business Partner.
Demonstrated experience leading HR teams and managing multiple parallel projects.
Proven stakeholder management experience at a senior leadership level.
Strong understanding of Dutch labor law, HR governance, and modern people practices.
Skilled in translating strategy into execution, with strong analytical capability and a data-driven mindset.
Excellent communication and influencing skills in English (Dutch is a strong advantage).
Agile mindset with the ability to navigate change and complexity in a dynamic, operational environment.
Strong coaching style and focus on enabling leaders to grow people capabilities within their teams.
