Are you ready to be the driving force behind international air cargo operations?
Every day, shipments arrive from cities all around the world. You make sure import and export flows run smoothly checking documents, entering data into the system, and ensuring that every shipment complies with airline regulations.

As an Import & Export Planning Officer, you are the administrative backbone of our cargo operations team. You work accurately, stay organized, and keep every flight from preparation to departure running seamlessly. No two days are ever the same in this fast-paced international environment at Schiphol Airport.

What you’ll do

  • Process and check import and export documentation and airway bills

  • Record operational data such as weight, irregularities, and delays

  • Work across different administrative areas – from cargo reception to flight handling

  • Ensure the accurate processing of export shipments for all airlines served by dnata

  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners such as freight forwarders and airlines

Job requirements

What you bring

  • Minimum MBO-3 (Dutch upper secondary vocational) level, preferably 2 years of experience in export, logistics, or air cargo administration

  • Knowledge of air cargo processes is a plus

  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written

  • Strong communication skills, assertive, and a true team player

  • Flexibility to work 24/7 shifts, with at least 8 years of residence in the Netherlands (for VGB clearance)
