Ready to keep Schiphol’s logistics engine moving?
As an Air Cargo Logistics Operator at dnata, you will work at the heart of the international cargo operation at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
Together with your colleagues, you will handle import and export shipments from all over the world every day. You will load and unload trucks, process incoming and outgoing cargo, and ensure goods reach their next destination safely, accurately and on time.
Whether you are operating a forklift or working on the warehouse floor, your contribution keeps the logistics process running smoothly.

What will you do?
Load and unload trucks, pallets and cargo containers
Process import shipments arriving at Schiphol Airport
Build, check and prepare export shipments for transport to destinations worldwide
Sort and move cargo within the warehouse
Check shipment quantities, labels and any damage
Register and process cargo information in the system
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Work closely with colleagues to ensure cargo is processed safely and on time
Follow all safety, security and quality procedures
Job requirements
What do you bring?
You enjoy hands-on work and have a proactive attitude
You are physically fit and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
You work accurately and remain focused during busy periods
You are a team player with strong communication skills
You are willing to work in shifts
You have a good command of English and/or Dutch
Experience in logistics, transport or a warehouse environment is an advantage
A forklift certificate is an advantage, or you are willing to obtain one
Experience in air cargo is a plus, but not essential. If you already work in logistics, warehousing or for another handling agent at Schiphol, we would love to hear from you.
Important information
As you will be working in a secured environment at Schiphol Airport, obtaining a Security Clearance Screening (VGB) is mandatory.
To be eligible for this screening, you must have continuously lived in an EU member state for the past eight years.
Unfortunately, candidates who do not meet this requirement cannot proceed in the recruitment process.
