Department and context

The Coordinator e-Commerce role is part of dnata Cargo’s e-commerce operation and is based at the new warehouse at Schiphol Airport. This dedicated operation focuses on the efficient and compliant handling of large volumes of e-commerce shipments. The team works closely with Planning, QHSE, Customs and transport partners to ensure a reliable and predictable flow of goods.

Purpose of the role

As Coordinator e-Commerce, you are responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the e-commerce operation. You ensure that operational and administrative processes run safely, efficiently and in line with agreed standards.
In this role, you act as the link between warehouse teams and supporting office functions, helping to align people, processes and systems to achieve agreed SLAs and KPIs.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily e-commerce activities, including breakdown, scanning and cargo registration

  • Lead and align a team of dnata employees and agency staff

  • Monitor turnaround times, scanning quality and SLA performance

  • Ensure compliance with safety, QHSE and operational standards

  • Track performance, identify issues and take corrective action where needed

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Planning, Customs, QHSE and transport partners

  • Contribute to process improvements and further professionalisation of the operation

Education and experience

  • MBO+ / HBO level of working and thinking

  • Education in logistics, supply chain or a related field

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse or e-commerce environments, preferably in a coordinating role

  • Experience leading teams of permanent employees and agency staff

  • Affinity with cargo management systems and scanning technologies

  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and customs and compliance requirements

  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English

  • Able to manage priorities in a dynamic, time-critical environment
